WCBH:Survival Ch15 After the mind-twisting voyage though the Time Vortex, Jo, the Doctor and the Princess found themselves in the railway tunnel of the twentieth century. The Princess's dragon immediately jumped off her back and took the bag again. "All right, Jo? Princess?" queried the Doctor and both girls nodded. "Come on then. There's very little time." They ran out of the darkness of the tunnel and cannoned straight into Sergeant Benton who was in charge of the tunnel guard. "Jo, Doctor!" he yelled. "No time for explanations!" the Doctor snapped. "What's happening at the house?" Benton looked at his watch. "Delegates will be arrivin

WCBH:Survival Ch14 Wrapped in an old blanket, Jo Grant huddled close to the wood fire in the brazier. She sipped gratefully at a tin mug full of steaming herbal tea. She looked round the cellar curiously. It was a grim enough place, yet the fire light gave it a homey feel. She preferred it to the shining metallic luxury of the Dalek quarters. When all was ready, the Orgons stepped back and with a nod from the Black Dalek, a Dalek scientist activated the machine. The screen lit up but displayed only

WCBH:Survival Ch12 Jo Grant pushed her plate away with a sigh of pleasure. "No more, please. I couldn't eat another thing." the Controller leaned forward with a wine bottle "a little more wine?"WCBH:Survival Ch12 by ~CittyCat105
"No, honestly nothing. It was a terrific meal." Actually, Jo thought, it hadn't been so good, coarse bread, tough meat and a mish-mash of strange vegetables. And she didn't think the Doctor would have thought much of the wine. "I'm glad you enjoyed it," the Controller told her "few people eat so luxuriously these days." Jo thought it was a strange idea of luxury but she smiled and said nothing "nowadays we have to get most of our main food elements from pills and table
